If I was President - Wyclef Jean

Yeah... Election time's coming...
Who you gon(na) vote for? Yeah!

If I was President
I'd get elected on Friday
Assasinated on Saturday
Buried on Sunday

They'll go back to work on Monday

If I was President
x3

Instead of spending
Billions on the war
I can use that money
so I can feed the poor

Cause I know some so poor
when it rains that's when they shower
Screaming "Fight the power!"
That's when the vulture devoure

(Chorus)

I know some soldiers
that sleep but they can't dream
Wake up with screams
sounds of M-16s

So take this medal of honor
for your bravery
I wish you the best care
for you and your family

(Chorus)

But the radio won't play this
They call it rebel music
How can you refuse it?
Children of Moses

Tell the children the truth, the truth
It's not all like bling that's Diamonds

Tell them the truth, the truth
Most that you wear cubic Zirconium

Tell them the truth, the truth, yeah!
Your soul is worth more than Diamonds and gold

Yeah, If I was President all blacks'll have reperation, no segregation
Feed the nation 'til there's no famine
Muslims, Jews, Christians would all hold hands
every week on the beach, party by the sand

And word up, take trips on Air Force One
No need to bring no homless with no sneaks to Air Force One
Better schools in the hood, better teachers for the classes
making money, paying no taxes

Find the best scientist, tell'em come up with an answer
I want the cure for AIDS and Cancer
But I gotta watch my back, sniper gonna heal with the steel
waiting JFKill

(Chorus)

I feel the rain comming
let me play the guitar for them right now
let's go!
Rescue G's, Yeah!

This song says that... no matter who you are
No matter where you go in your life
At some point you're gon(na) need somebody
to stand by you

Oh yeah! Oh my darling
Stand by me!

No matter who your are
no matter where you go... in life

You gon(na) need somebody, to stand by you

No matter how much money you got
or the friends you got

You gon(na) need somebody, to stand by you

When the night has come, and the land is dark
And that moon is the only light you see

No I won't be afraid, no I-I-I won't shed one tear
Just as long as the people come and stand by me

Darling, darling stand by me
Oooh stand by me
Oh stand
, stand
Stand by
me c'mon stand by me stand by me
, yeah!

If the sky that we look upon
Well should tumble and fall
And the mountains be just crumbled to the sea
I won't cry, I won't cry, no I won't shed a tear
Just as long as you stand, stand by me

Oh darling, darling stand by me, oh stand by me
Oh please stand, stand by me, stand by me

Oh darling, darling stand by me, ohh stand by me
Please stand
Stand by me, stand by me

Ohhh baby, baby...

Oh darling darling stand...
Oooh stand... Oh stand, Oh stand, stand
Stand by me c'mon stand by me, stand by me
Stand... oh won't you stand...
Oh stand... stand by me, c'mon stand by me

When the night has come, and the way is dark
And the moon, is the only light you see
I won't be afraid... I won't be afraid
Not as long, not as long as you stand by me

Whose side are you on? - Matt Bianco

At one empty place
at the table for two
our agent in Rome
a cafe rendez-vous

The seat is soon taken
a contact is made
surveyed by another
whose secret is safe

Whose side are you on?
Whose side are you on?
Whose side are you on?
Whose side are you on?

Hmmm, yeah...

The courier falls
the coffee was druged
the waiter makes off with
the microdot

you don't have to believe
to play that double cross
spying for the side
that pays them the most

(Chorus)

And who's that someone on the inside
an undercover mole?
To late to use a lie detector
now some heads will roll

(Chorus)

8 Days a Week - The Beatles

... Sin 'intermediarios chupasangre'.

(A propósito recuerda cuando llegue el día,
elegir buenos líderes para gobernaciones y alcaldías,
líderes realmente transparentes... Sin corrupción.)

Sky High - FreeTEMPO

/ You never know that when it snows
You just might find
Another moment to let go an open mind, Oh...

You never know, you just don't know
and I don't mind

For every time you never know
Just keep in mind

You never feel lost when you're up high
You don't have to ask when all is fine

You never feel lost when you're up high
Analyze this loss, then you'll feel fine /

/ Yeah, the way we aim our eyes
Oh, know... When the time is a-slipping away

Yeah, your town has its story: The skies
Yeah, we know were wasted away

Yeah, your town has its story: The skies
Yeah, we know were wasted away

Let me know why I'm here /

still your spell is soring me

I keep thinking you're before me

Cheater muchachita

still I see you smiling
so beguiling in my glass

Nadando = Swimming
Corriendo= Running

I like to swim = I like swimming
Me gusta nadar = Me gusta (estar) nadando

Swimming in San Andrés is wonderful!

We stopped swimming because we were tired

I remember swimming in that river in 1980

Drawing - Dibujo

Estuve acampando, hicimos un...
Camping - Campamento

Estaremos cenando, por lo que organizaremos una...
Dining - Cena

Entrevista Caracol Radio:

The BACKYARDIGANS Theme Song

-Hi, I'm Pablo.
-My name's Tyrone.
-I'm Uniqua.
-I'm Tasha.
-And my name is Austin.
-And we're ...

Your Backyard friends, the BACKYARDIGANS!
Together in the Backyard again
In the place where we belong
Where we'll probably* sing a song
And we'll maybe dance along

We've got the whole wide world in our yard to explore
We always find things we've never seen before
That's why every day we're back for more
With your friends, the BACKYARDIGANS!

So
In the beginning there was hum
From a poet whose pulse fell
Drum drum drum!

He would perform prayers and all
Till one day he heard a voice call
Come come come!

Suspicious he moved with vicious caution
Dismisses, he thinks it's a little off

People get held back
By the voice inside them

Yo
The voice said I'm poised to speak inside you
Rejoice and please let me invite you
To evil, greed and lies too

Yeah
Confusing days he moved in ways he soon became a Kuuni
Boom boom boom
And knock on his door his lord is no more
And knock on his door his soul is no more

La la la la- yeah
La la la la- that was in the beginning
La la la la- as the story goes on
La la la la

So so so
The poet's got a proposal
He would always hope but never know
What it feels to be free

He would be the frozen imposed as the chosen on all those opposing
But he would be greedy
That's got him there
He's power hungry and proud too

People don't care, people just scared
People don't care, people just prayer

La la la la - yeah
La la la la- that was in the beginning
La la la la- there was a hum
La la la la- and things change
La la la la

Yeah, yeah, yeah
Say
It's better to light a candle than to curse the dark
In the eyes of the youth there are question marks
Like freedom
Freedom for the mind and soul
We don't see them
See them for their worth at all
That's why we lead them
Lead them to these wars and what is it we feed them
Feed them our impurities and who it is we treat them
Treat them like the enemy humanity will need them
Need them like the blood we spill and where freedom

Freedom for the hearts we fill
Mislead them
They hunger for the love we give
But we cheat them

The cops beat them when all he wants is his freedom
So they defeat them
Whatever spirit he's got
Beat them

And they teach them that the rest of the world don't need him
And he believes it's a disease that he's heathen
Put up your fists if all you want is freedom
Put up your fists if all you want is

La la la la- That was in the beginning
La la la la- And things change
La la la la

Yeah, yeah, yeah
And we keep holding on
And we keep being strong
And we keep going on
And on and on and on
(x4)

We Can Live Anywhere - Big D and the Kids Table

If you don't like the streets
Then that's all you have to say to me
If you don't like the coffee shops
Saying, the people aren't as nice, Well...
let's get out of here

'Cause you've never said to me
Your soul can't breathe
We'll live where we just smile most, yeah
No matter how far, we'll...
find our nest of peace

'Cause we can live anywhere
Yes we can live anywhere
Pack your things up c'mon let's go
Didn't you know we own this world? Yeah...
We can live anywhere

You're much happier when you sing
About how much you dig everything
We'll live where we just joke the most, yeah
Too far? No way man, We'll...
find that nest of peace

We can live anywhere
Yes we can live anywhere
Pack your things up c'mon let's go
Didn't you know we own this world? Yeah...
We can live anywhere

Would you like to go today
London ain't too far away

Would you like to go today
Paris ain't too far away

Would you like to go today
for you nothing's too far away

Would you like to go today...

State of Emergency - Pillar

y
el Voto de la Gente Conciente,
que vota con base en esa verdad.

We used to think that our ignorance is bliss
But we can't keep on thinking
That this moment doesn't exist
There's people fighting and fighting and fighting
For all that they own

It seems we twisted reality again
Looking for the opportunity for us to dig in
We're getting deeper and deeper and deeper
Into the unknown

(We've got to open up our eyes)

[Pre-Chorus]
How long will we close our eyes to the youth?
How long until we recognize the truth?
How far will we let this go?

[Chorus]
It's a state of emergency
It's time we see
There's a need to take action
This is a state of emergency
We're too blind to see
All of these simple distractions

All our attention is directed to the mirror
We want to forget that people live in terror
We're their only way out and the time is right now
We gotta grab a hold of this moment

[Pre-Chorus]
[Chorus 2x]

How far do we let it go
Before we all take control
We are the hands
We are the feet
So we gotta go
Stop waiting for someone else
To take control
(Take back the control)
We could be their last hope

[Chorus 2x]

Faber Drive - I'll Be There

No tengo muchos buenos amigos,

In the Jailhouse now - Soggy Botton Boys

I had a friend named Rambling Bob
He used to steal, gamble, and Rob
He thought he was the smartest guy around
Well I found out last Monday
That Bob got locked up Sunday
They've got him in the jailhouse way downtown

He's in the jailhouse now
He's in the jailhouse now
Well I told him once or twice
To stop playin' cards and a-shooting dice
He's in the jailhouse now

(yodel)
Ah di o-dalee eehee dee-o ti
Ah di o-dalee ee oh dee-o ti
Yodelayee-hee
Yodelayee-hee
Yodelay-eeee

Bob like to play his Poker
Pinochle, Whist and Euchre
But shooting dice
Was his favorite game
But he got throwed in jail
With nobody to go his bail
The judge done said that he refused the fine

(Chorus)

Well I went out last Tuesday
I met a girl named Susie
I said I was the swellest guy around
Well, we started to spending my money
And she started to calling me honey
We took in every cabaret in town

We're in the jailhouse now
We're in the jailhouse now
I told that judge right to his face
I don't like to see this place
We're in the jailhouse now

(yodel)
Ah di o-dalee eehee o hee
Ah di o-dalee eehee deeo ti
Yodelayee-hee
Yodelayee-hee
Ah Yodelay-eeee

Un Pato - Paul Sonnenberg

O pato...

Olhou pro cisne e disse assim "vem, vem"

o tico-tico no fubá

E ensaiando o vocal

Quém, quém, quém
Quém, quém, quém
Quém, quém, quém
O Pato...

O Pato...
A duck so happily came singing, Quen, Quen,
A drake who heard her came a-winging, Quen, Quen
And he invited her to samba, to samba, to samba.

O Ganso...
A goose who saw the duckies dancing, Quen, Quen,
Called up a swan he'd been romancing, Quen, Quen
Such a quartet you never have seen!
Come and see what I mean...

By the lagoon they're swaying
Watch them as they swoon
Underneath the moon
Happy as crows out in the corn

But then the duck let out a curse, he'd made her stumble
The goose thought it was just a game and took a tumble
I laughed as they all lost their cool and fell into the pool!
And started quacking all the more:

Quen, Quen, Quen
Quen, Quen, Quen
Quen, Quen, Quen
O Pato...

If I Can dream - Robson & Jerome

There must be lights burning brighter... Somewhere
Got to be birds flying higher in a sky more blue
If I can dream of a better land
Where all my brothers walk hand in hand
Tell me why, oh why, oh why can't my dream come true?
Oh why?

There must be peace and understanding... Sometime
Strong winds of promise that will blow away
The doubt and the fear
If I can dream of a warmer sun
Where hope keeps shining on everyone
Tell me why, oh why, oh why won't that sun appear?

We're lost in a cloud

With too much rain
We're trapped in a world
That's troubled with pain
But as long as a man
Has the strength to dream
He can redeem his soul and fly

Deep in my heart there's a trembling... question
Still I am sure that the answer's gonna come somehow
Out there in the dark (Out there in the dark)
there's a beckoning candle (there's a beckoning candle)
Yeah, yeah, yeah!

And while I can think, while I can talk
While I can stand, while I can walk
While I can dream
Please let my dream
Come true... uh, oh, oh, uh, oh
Right now!

(If I can dream)
x3

Right now!

Down Below (The Olympus PEN Story Song)

Be just who you wanna be my friend
You just got to trust in fate

Do the things you wanna do 'cause life don’t wait

Take it easy, keep your head up high
No need for sorrow and despair

Just keep on moving, it’s such a wonderous world out there

The years are flashing by
and everything will change

(Everything will change)

But way down deep inside
we all just stay the same

And down below
Old memories come alive
and then we know
Down below

It’s a long road we all gotta walk
But there’s an awful lot to see

And the sun keeps rising up wherever you may be

Fly the ocean, dive into the blue
No need for sorrow and despair

Just keep moving, it’s such a wonderous world out there

(Chorus)

Medicine for my Soul - Juan Luis Guerra

Yeah yeah yeah yeah
I was listening to a radiostation last night
A shrink, Dr. Luis, was giving counsel on the line

I dialed 305 594 1185
(three o' five, five ninety-four eleven eighty-five)
Hey doc, I'm calling about a latin girl I met on a web site

She tastes to me like a honeycomb
y tiene la llave de mi corazón

Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah

I'm from Louisiana, she's from San Pedro de Macoris,
you know the land of baseball players,
where Sammy Sosa lives

She likes to drink papaya juice and paint caribbean trees
Oh, we don't have too much in common
but love is blind as you can see

She tastes to me like a honeycomb
sweet to my heart, medicine for my soul

Girl I want to feel your heart
and hope you love me too

You know I can't stop loving you, babe
I said mambo

Love me, yeah
Love me, yeah

Establish your emotions
make a point, you're on the air

Should I go and visit her
should I learn spanish words
should I cry, should I face
some political concerns

Should I join a social club
Should I peel a coconut
movin' in, movin' on,
merengue bachata y son, now

She tastes to me like a honeycomb
y tiene la llave de mi corazón

Dance !
Dance !
yeah yeah yeah yeah
Dance !

Should I get down on my knees
should I dance a latin beat
Should I laugh should I get
a romantic membership

Should I play my conga drums
should I sing 'La Vie en Rose'
Moving in, moving on
merengue, bachata y son, now

She tastes to me like a honeycomb
y tiene la llave de mi corazón

Girl I want to feel your heart
and hope you love me too

You know I can't stop loving you, babe

She tastes to me like a honeycomb
y tiene la llave de mi corazón

You're so sweet, to me, yeah
You're so sweet
You're so sweet, to me, baby
You're so sweet, to me, baby
You're so sweet
yeah yeah yeah

She tastes to me like a honeycomb
y tiene la llave de mi corazón

Sweet to my heart
ehh baby now
Sweet to my heart
Sweet to my heart
Sweet to my heart
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Sweet to my heart
yeah baby

She tastes to me like a honeycomb
tu tienes la llave de mi corazón

Eenie Meenie - Sean Kingston Feat. Justin Bieber

Tin, marín, de do, pingüé...
Cúcara, mácara, títere fue...
este cochino marrano fue...
con la varita de San José.

De algo similar habla esta canción.

Hay personas indecisas por el amor...

Eenie meenie miney moe
Catch a bad chick by her toe
If she holla if, if
if she holla let her go

She's indecisive
She can’t decide
She keeps on looking
From left to right

Girl, c’mon a bit closer
Look in my eyes
Searching is so wrong
I’m Mr. Right

You seem like the type
To love 'em and leave 'em
And disappear right after this song

So give me the night
To show you, hold you
Don’t leave me out here dancing alone

You can’t make up your mind, mind, mind, mind, mind
Please don’t waste my time, time, time, time, time
I’m not trying to rewind, wind, wind, wind, wind
I wish our hearts could come together as one

Cause...

shawty is a eenie meenie miney moe lova
x4

(Oh, oh, oh, oh)

Let me show you what your missing
Paradise
With me you’re winning girl
You don’t have to roll the dice

Tell me what you’re really here for?
Them... other guys?
I can see right through you

(Chorus)

Eenie meenie miney moe
Catch a bad chick by her toe
If she holla if, if
if she holla let her go

Eenie meenie miney moe
Catch a bad chick by her toe
If she holla, holla, holla
let her, her, her, her...

Shawty is a eenie meenie miney moe lova
x4

Can’t make up your mind
Please don’t waste my time
Not trying to rewind
I wish our hearts could come together as one

Shawty is a eenie meenie miney moe lova
x4

What I like about you - The Kinks

Hey!
Uh, uh, uh
Hey!
Uh, uh, uh

What I like about you...
You hold me tight!

Tell me I'm the only one
wanna come over tonight
yeah!

Keep on whispering in my ear
Tell me all the things that I wanna hear
Cuz it's true

that's what I like about you!

What I like about you
You really know how to dance

When you go up, down,
jump around,
Think about true romance
yeah!

Keep on whispering in my ear
Tell me all the things that I wanna hear
Cuz it's true

That's what I like about you!
x3

Woooow!

What I like about you
You keep me warm at night

Never wanna let you go
You know you make me feel alright
Yeah!

Keep on whispering in my ear
Oh, tell me all the things I wanna hear...

Cuz it's true!

that's what I like about you...

Teacher, Teacher - 38 Special

Just when I thought I finally learned my lesson well
There was more to this than meets the eye
And for all the things you taught me, only time will tell
If I'll be able to survive. Oh yeah!

Teacher, teacher, can you teach me?
Can you tell me all I need to know?
Teacher, teacher, can you reach me?
Or will I fall when you let me go? Oh no

Am I ready for the real world, will I pass the test?
You know it's a jungle out there
Ain't nothin' gonna stop me, I won't be second best
But the joke's on those who believe the system's fair, oh yeah!

Teacher, teacher, can you teach me?
Can you tell me if I'm right or wrong?
Teacher, teacher, can you reach me?
I wanna know what's goin' on, Oh yeah!

So the years go on and on, but nothing's lost or won
And what you learned is soon forgotten
They take the best years of your life
Try to tell you wrong from right
But you walk away with nothing. Oh Oh...

Teacher, teacher, can you teach me?
Can you tell me all I need to know?
Teacher, teacher, can you reach me?
Or will I fall when you let me go?

Teacher, teacher, can you teach me?
Can you tell me if I'm right or wrong?
Teacher, teacher, can you reach me?
I wanna know what's goin' on, Oh...

Teacher, teacher, can you teach me?
Teacher, teacher, can you reach me?
Teacher, teacher, can you teach me?
Teacher, teacher, Ooh yeah!
Teacher, teacher
Teacher, teacher

Tennessee - Arrested Development

Señor...
Llévame a otro lugar
Llévame a otra tierra

Lord I've really been real stressed
Down and out, losin ground
Although I am black and proud
Problems got me pessimistic

Brothers and sisters keep messing up
Why does it have to be so damn tuff?
I don't know where I can go
To let these ghosts out of my skull

My grandmas past, my brothers gone
I never at once felt so alone
I know you're supposed to be my steering wheel
Not just my spare tire (home)

But lord I ask you (home)
To be my guiding force and truth (home)
For some strange reason it had to be (home)
He guided me to Tennessee (home)

Take me to another place
Take me to another land
Make me forget all that hurts me
Let me understand your plan
x2

Lord it's obvious we got a relationship
Talking to each other every night and day
Although you're superior over me
We talk to each other in a friendship way

Then outta nowhere you tell me to break
Outta the country and into more country
Past Dyesburg into Ripley
Where the ghost of childhood haunts me

Walk the roads my forefathers walked
Climbed the trees my forefathers hung from
Ask those trees for all their wisdom
They tell me my ears are so young (home)

Go back to from whence you came (home)
My family tree, my family name (home)
For some strange reason it had to be (home)
He guided me to Tennessee (home)

Chorus

Eshe? She went down to Holly Springs.
Rasha Don and Baba? They went down to Peachtree.
Headliner, I challenge you to a game of horseshoes.
A game of horseshoes!

Now I see the importance of history
Why people be in the mess that they be
Many journeys to freedom made in vain
By brothers on the corner playing ghetto games

I ask you lord why you enlightened me
Without the enlightment of all my folks
He said cuz I set myself on a quest for truth
And he was there to quench my thirst

But I am still thirsty...

The lord allowed me to drink some more
He said what I am searching for are
Oh, the answers to all which are in front of me
The ultimate truth started to get blurry

For some strange reason it had to be
It was all a dream about Tennessee

Chorus

Oh, won't you let me
Won't you help me
Won't you help me understand you plan?
(Tennessee)

Take me home
Take me home
Home
(Tennessee)

Take me to another place
Take me home
(Tennessee)

Oh you know I need to go home, yeah
(Tennessee)

Headliner?
I won the game of horseshoes
Now you owe me a watermelon
Let's go climb trees and skip over rocks
do like they do below the border
Hmm? Speech's hair?
No it look like the roots of the tree my ancestors were hung from
But that's okay, get it, 'cuz he's down to earth

Tennessee
Tennessee
Whoo! Yeah!

Tennessee
Te... Tenness...

Fuente: http://www.elespectador.com/economia/articulo139904-presidente-uribe-no-descarta-impuesto-permanente-financiar-guerra

-NO PONDRÉ IMPUESTOS-

Me parece estar oyendo a Jaime Garzón:
(Cualquier parecido con nuestra realidad, no es pura coincidencia)

" Te diré que no quieren...
No quieren gente informada,
educada y de pensamiento crítico...

No quieren personas suficientemente listas

Palabras del video

" Y mientras nosotros estemos quietos ...

Jaime Garzón 1997

Second chance - Faber Drive

I found the phone
I must've missed your message
You got it wrong, It wasn't what your friend said
Tell by your tone, I've taken it too far again
(Just when I thought I'd gone and fixed it all again)

Your friends are telling you, You gotta move on
(Just when I thought I'd gone and wrecked it all again)
You turned around so I could tell you what took so long
I don't know why i ever waited to say
Cuz I'm just dying just to see you again

Instead of holding you, I was holding out
I should've let you in, but I let you down
You were the first to give ,I was the first to ask
Now I'm in second place, to get a second chance

I should've known, took you and I for granted
Gotta let you know, I was never underhanded
Tell by your tone, I've taken it too far again
(Just when I thought I'd gone and fixed it all again)

My friends are telling me they saw you with someone
(Just when I thought I'd gone and wrecked it all again)
You turned around so I could tell you what took so long
I don't know why i ever waited to say
Cuz I'm just dying just to see you again

Instead of holding you, I was holding out
I should've let you in, but I let you down
You were the first to give, I was the first to ask
Now I'm in second place, to get a second chance

My last mistake, putting my friends first
I tried to laugh it off but I made things worse
You were the first to give, I was the first to ask
Now I'm in second place, to get a second chance

What you give is always what you get
There's so much I haven't given yet
If you could give another second chance
(Just when I thought I'd gone and fixed it all again)

My friends are telling me they saw you with someone
(Just when I thought I'd gone and wrecked it all again)
You turned around so I could tell you what took so long
I don't know why I ever waited to say
Cuz I'm just dying just to see you

Instead of holding you, I was holding out
I should've let you in, but I let you down
You were the first to give, I was the first to ask
Now I'm in second place, to get a second chance

My last mistake, putting my friends first.
I tried to laugh it off but I made things worse
You were the first to give I was the first to ask
Now I'm in second place to get a second chance

Instead of holding you, I was holding out

You were the first to give, I was the first to ask
